Hilton – University of Florida Conference Center

The Hilton - University of Florida Conference Center is located on the southwestern edge of the University of Florida Campus. Working with Rabun Architects (Atlanta), BCI provided civil engineering and planning services for this large project, which involved significant layout design, stormwater management design and permitting, utility coordination and design, and roadway Improvements. Utility design included permitting of a major Florida Power transmission line relocation and under-grounding of all overhead lines in front of the project site. Roadway modifications including State Road 121 turn lane improvements, median closings, access modifications, and permitting for adjacent County and State roadways. This project also involved successful fast track permitting with 6 different regulatory agencies.
