Santa Fe College Fine Arts Hall

The Santa Fe College Fine Arts Hall, which opened in September 2011, is a beautifully designed 3-story, 600-seat, state-of-the-art performance hall designed to showcase the award winning dance, music, theatre, and visual arts of the college. Brown & Cullen, Inc. provided civil design services for this project, which involved significant permitting with various agencies. The civil engineering design included renovation of existing parking areas, a new 140 space parking facility, storm sewer improvements, potable water and fire line improvements, and a major 1/4 mile offsite sanitary sewer extension to the north. Significant permitting included ERP stormwater management permitting with St. Johns River Water District, utility permitting with Gainesville Regional Utilities, and NPDES permitting for erosion & sedimentation control with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
