Plaza Royale

The Plaza Royale PD is one of Gainesville’s first mixed-use re-development projects. Originally, the site of an old Scotty’s Hardware Store and aging retail facility, the property was re-developed in 2001, as a “retail lifestyle” center with over 100,000 SF of retail and office space, a movie theatre, restaurants, and residential townhomes. It is located along Newberry Rd. between Interstate 75 and the University of Florida. Brown & Cullen provided master planning, rezoning, and complete civil engineering design and permitting for the project.
