University of Florida Eastside Campus - North Parking Lot

Since 2003, the University of Florida has been redeveloping their Eastside Campus, located in the 2200 block of NE Waldo Road, with the addition of new office buildings and research facilities. As a result, a need developed for additional parking to serve the campus. The University acquired a 2.64 acre parcel just north of the Eastside Campus to add the needed parking facilities for the campus. Brown & Cullen provided civil engineering design and permitting services for the project, which included 164-parking spaces, site lighting, onsite stormwater management facilities, and landscaping. The project was permitted with the St. Johns River Water Management District, the City of Gainesville, and the FDOT.
